Help with iTunes setup software please....best answer is guaranteed 10 points and many thank-yous?
when i try to download iTunes the download almost completes and then the following message appears:
Error 1402.Could not open key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Cl... Verify that you have access to that key, or contact your local support personnel
what is this about? how do i correct this problem?

Answers:
You need to have Administrator permissions for itunes to install onto your computer.
If you're at work, have your IT guy install it for you. If you're at home, open up your computer options through the start menus and change to preferences to the user that needs to install the software, i.e. make yourself an admin on your own computer.

You may have a pop up blocker blocking it. Hold down the ctrl key while downloading...or you could have other problems that may need a repairman.
