About e-mailing and stuff.?

When you send someone an e-mail. Is it possible that he can send viruses to ur PC or know ur IP adress?

Answers:
Inside the Email "header" which is generally not displayed to the user, is the IP address of the sender. Knowing an IP address could grant someone access if your system isn't correctly protected with a Firewall, or other security software.

Sending an Email can not give you a virus unless you receive a reply and the Email contains an attachement which you open, or it is an HTML document with a script that runs when it is viewed... Most anti-virus software applications protect against these kinds "attacks" as long as they are kept updated with current virus definitions.

Other answers:
Not if you send it to them. If theys end it to you yes.
Wait sending them an e-mail might help them. It's possible to get somoens IP address thru an e-mail.
To hide your ip address use a proxy. www.mycgiproxy.com is a good one.

Somebody can reply to your email with a virus but your computer cannot be infected unless you open an attachment that they send.

They cannot know your IP address by looking at the email itself, but they can ask your Internet Service Provider for it (Your ISP is not required to give it to them unless they are a government agency, however)
