When Microsoft brings out new operating system, how much will computer prices drop with P systems?

Don't expect to see computer prices drop anytime soon.

You can expect to pay avg of about $1,000 for a good mid level setup. The reason the price will stay the same is that the industry is continually upgrading the performance of upper level systems.

So instead of getting a better price what you'll actually get is a better computer for the same money.

I do not think so
Microsoft does not bring out new operating systems. Since 80-th's, Microsoft only buys or steals. All "new" MS OS versions are essentially convulsive attempts to look better.
*NUX family step by step pushes MS to that deep hole where is real place for MS to be in.
Prices? Huh! You can get really professional OS for free - e.g. BSD UNIX clone:
