1GB is equal to how many MBs? 1000 or 1024?
Answers:
1GB is exactly equal to 1024 MB cause 1GB = 2 raise to 10 MB which is equal to 1024 MB....but due to the negligible amount of space(24 MB) when compared to 1GB and for simplicity it is often termed as 1000MB by non technical people. Am a computer engineering student and who better to answer such a question.Good question though.
Other answers:
1024
yep 1024
Excellent question. Both are valid answers depending on context.
1024
1GB is equal to one billion bytes, this is the same as 1000 MB
who knows its called search on your toolbar!!!!
Heres the whole conversion:-
8 bits = 1 Byte
1024 Bytes = 1 Kilo Byte
1024 Kilo Bytes = 1 Mega Byte
1024 Mega Bytes = 1 Giga Byte
1024 Giga Bytes = 1 Tera Byte
It's enough to know till here. Want more? Keep asking
1GB = 1000 MB
although the chips are actually 1024, but a number is always a literal number in this case I guess it's liberal............huh
1000
1024 is the correct and precise
1000 is sometimes correct
It doesn't ever change. 1 GB is equal to 1024 and is never equal to 1000. Everyone should know it is 1024!
