1 Router, 2 Computers, Can I access the other computer through router?
I have two computers who access the internet through a router. I would like to access the computer "B" using computer "A"... Can I access it through the internet or through the router I have? If so, what do I do? I tried doing the setting up a home network but something isn't working. What is a simple step by step way to check to see if I have access to the other computer files so we can swap stuff from one drive to another. (Thank you so much!)

you have to set up a domain for your computers, a domain is kinda like your own home network of computer, for information on how to setup a domain go to the Microsoft knowledge base or to the knowledge base of the company that made the router, then you can *** or remove as many computers to your domain as you want, and they will all be accessible to you via mynetworkplaces icon.

you'll need to set up your network with static IP addresses. There are lots of resources to know how to do this from the internet. This is just the first step though.
Yes, if you are running Windows XP there is a setting you can use called remote assistance, but I don't know how good it is. It's your best bet though.
call the company reponsible for making the router, have them take you through step by step... i find its the easiest way to set up that connection.
1) first can u please tell me which OS you are using. and the ip provided by ur isp is dynamic or static.
