About wireless connections on laptop.?
My lapot wireless connection has found several connections but I didn't set up any of them. Is it safe to connect my laptop to those connections?

You can try to connect, after doing what 2nd answer suggestion, but I think most of them has secured connection anyway, so u need password to join in.

Your laptop found other peoples connections ..If you connect to them it like stealing..
Make sure you're using a firewall (also a virus scan software helps) and that you've set up your comp. not to share anything (very important). otherwise they should be safe. do you know where they are coming from? might be a good idea to investigate...
1-disable sharing your files
2-I think u need a wep key to be able to access it otherwise u can join but you are stealing, take care
