A typical question by my master on internet explorer and firefox?
My asks the quesion as follows, "I am able to access the internet on Mozilla Firefox, but I am unable to access the internet on Internet Explorer. What may be the issue? How can I troubleshoot this issue?" Can anyone kindly post the exact troubleshooting procedure?

Check out the proxy settings of Internet explorer.
Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> then click the connection you use and check if use a proxy server is checked or not if it is checked then uncheck it. May be it would have helped you.

Check out the proxy settings first, connection settings and then check the DNS mand gateway settings...
Fill them in for Explorer as they are in Firefox... maybe it will work

If you are using Firefox, why are trying to use Explorer? Firefox is far better
