Active Sync Error 80072ee2 MDA cell Phone with Exchange?
I'm trying to sync a MDA cell phone with Exchange 2003. I get an error on the device of 80072ee2 ..
I know it's connecting to the server though b/c I'm getting errors in the event viewer on my exchange server. Specifically it says:
The mailbox server [exsrv01] does not allow "Negotiate" authentication to its [/Exchange-OMA] virtual directory. Exchange ActiveSync can only access the server using this authentication scheme.
I dont know how to setup negotiation access for this folder.. Any help would be appreciated!!
the microsoft exchange event viewer error is an event id 3031

Hi there..It sounds like Forms Based Authentication might be enabled or SSL is required. Microsoft has a pretty lengthy write-up on it here:
